I have been completely MIA on here as you may have noticed. To begin with, I never really enjoyed blogging daily about things I already talk about on IG and my other platforms. To be completely honest, I simply never enjoyed blogging period. You may find that odd since that's what most people are doing now, especially those with a presence on social media platforms like Instagram. I have been encouraged by so many people on my team to keep my blog active but I've never felt motivated or passionate to do so. And when I am not passionate about something, you won't find me doing it period. But, a change has happened within me this past month where I have had the urge to talk more about my journey, what I do, my lifestyle, and lessons I have learned - not just decor tips! The more I thought about it, the more excited I got to really get things going again on my blog. Yes, it will be more personal, but I think this the perfect platform for me to share my life and my journey on a more personal level with you. I won't be overloading you all with too many posts, but I'd like to start being more consistent for you. I’m planning on writing 2-3 blogs a month to begin with and see how it goes!
As you all know, I am a mom, a wife, a social media content creator and an entrepreneur. I am the founder of the brand Inspire Me! Home Decor. A home decor brand which, in under a year, has turned into a household name. I have to pinch myself as I type this out. To see all my hard work and visions come to life is an experience that humbles me every day. Although it was not a journey void of stumbles and falls, it’s still a journey that made my dreams come true and I'm not done yet. Oh no, not even close to being done. I still have so much more in the works and so much more I want to create. The fact that I am in a position where I can design collections that fit your homes, facilitate the design process for you, and inspire you is what my ultimate goal has always been. I want to be able to answer your questions, to help you on your journey to making your house your home and remove the guesswork as much as I can. And I continue to do that through my brand and my platforms. I hope you've been finding them helpful!
I can't talk about myself on this blog without also sharing my support system and my family. I mentioned I am a mom of three. I am blessed to have these beautiful souls in my life who always find a way to give me more and more gray hair as the years pass. But I wouldn't have it any other way! They are why I do what I do. I have two girls and my youngest is my baby boy. Many of you who have been following me on IG for a while know that I don't share my kids on social media. It’s a choice I made and stick with for now. Until my kids are old enough to understand this world I live in, I feel like it’s the best way I can protect them. My husband is an amazing man who when I first started was completely confused with this world of mine, but now sees what I have done and is my biggest supporter. He lifts me up when I am down and picks me up when I fall. We do have of course, our “moments.” I am a strong minded person and can push his buttons a bit. God bless him and his patience! Not to say he doesn't have his moments either… But who would want a boring marriage without some excitement in it? Right? Right.
Many of you ask me how I balance it all, I'll go more into details on this another time but God bless my parents who have been helping me and supporting me as I go to work, travel, and stay busy. I honestly wouldn't have been able to do it without them.
I also have a great team that works with me to make all this magic happen. I feel like I talk about them but don't show them and that is going to change too. Keep an eye on my Instagram stories to see them pop up!
As I continue to work towards my goals and my brand, I will be sharing more behind the scenes with you. I don't want to overdo it with my first blog so I'll stop here for now. There is so much I want to share. For the first time ever, I feel excited about blogging more. I hope you'll stick around to read what I’ll be sharing with you.
Stay safe, stay blessed, stay inspired!
